Willow Cottage, in the delightful village of Studland, is a four bedroom detached property, decorated to a high specification in a charming, contemporary manner. It is set in its own grounds with ample parking, only 5 minutes from the beach, 3 minutes to The Pig On The Beach and a short stroll to the village shop and pub.
On entering this welcoming property, you find yourself in a bright, tastefully furnished, open plan living area, to one side, a cosy sitting area which seats 6 and provides a comfortable space to relax in front of the log burner or watch a film after a day exploring this area designated as An Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
On the other side is the dinning area, with a large dining table and chairs, which provides the perfect setting for a family meal.
Beyond the living area is a large well-equipped kitchen, with a double electric oven, 6 ring gas hob, microwave, American fridge freezer and ice maker, two drawer dishwasher and a separate washing machine and dryer.
The bedrooms are located on either side of the living area, two on each side and are a mirror image of each other, an anomaly of Willow Cottage previously being three alms houses, converted into one cottage.
To one side is a delightful double bedroom and a pretty single room, both overlooking the garden. The bathroom on this side has a large walk-in shower, wash handbasin and WC.
The other side also has a double bedroom and a spacious single room, the bathroom is fitted with a bath and over bath shower, wash handbasin and WC.
To the front of the living area is a covered veranda, which provides an attractive extended space for alfresco dining. The magical gardens provide a choice of seating areas to enjoy your morning coffee or find a peaceful setting to read and have a glass of wine.
Depending on the time of year, you will be able to select fresh vegetables from the kitchen garden and greenhouse.
Willow cottage is a splendid property which has been furnished with thoughtful attention to detail, making this a luxurious retreat for family and friends. The accommodation is on one level and there is ample parking for 3 cars.
Willow Cottage nestles in the centre of the idyllic village of Studland, which is situated at the end of the World Heritage Jurassic coast, and is well known for its spectacular four miles of white sandy beaches, vast heathland, woodland walks and outstanding natural beauty.

We had a fantastic stay at Willow Cottage. The house itself was lovely with amazing beds, bed linen and a gorgeous kitchen. The garden is the true gem of the property and where we spent most of our time. You could spend all day in different sections of the garden getting a different experience in each. It was also a nice perk to be able to try some home grown cucumbers from the garden (if only we arrived later in the season for the tomatoes!). The hosts provided great high chairs and travel cot and went out of their way and provided socket protectors for us which we found to be very thoughtful! The house is also wonderfully positioned to enjoy the beach, The Pig, and also the local bus to go to Swanage or Sandbanks. We are looking forward to returning to this lovely cottage as soon as we can!
