Easter Cottage is an attractive semi-detached cottage, which is bright and cheerful in summer and warm and snug in winter. It is an easy 10 minutes walk to the Corfe Village Square for the morning paper and fresh loaf of bread from the bakery.
The front door opens into a inner porch and then a delightful, comfortable sitting room with an inglenook fireplace, a coal effect gas stove, and comfortable seating. Beyond is a modern fully equipped kitchen and bright dining area with dining table and chairs for 6. From the kitchen a door opens into the rear garden. There is a downstairs WC with hand basin.
Easy stairs lead from the sitting room to a small landing. On the first floor, there is a delightful double bedroom with windows overlooking the rear garden and a spacious family bedroom which has three single beds. There is also a bathroom with a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.
At the front of the cottage there is a small garden and at the rear of the cottage, is a larger enclosed garden, which has a gate at the end, leading to a parking area for one car, in front of the garage. From the parking area, there is access to a path which leads to the Middle Halves, an area of grassland in the middle of the village. This provides a pleasant walk to the Village Square, the Castle, and it is the start of many of the best walks in the Purbeck area. Easter Cottage is located in East Street, but it is a little way back from the road. It has double glazed windows, therefore, traffic noise is minimal.
Easter Cottage is a charming, well equipped and comfortable cottage which provides a lovely place for a holiday in this beautiful part of Dorset. The splendid town of Swanage, spectacular beaches of Studland and the charming villages of Worth Matravers, Kingston and Langton Matravers are all within easy reach.

Our first time in the cottage, which we found cosy and comfortable. It was an ideal base for lots of varied walks. We loved the walk over to the pub at Kingston, fantastic views of the castle.
Over many years we have enjoyed holidays in Purbeck with our caravan at Harmans Cross. Age and traffic conditions have finally caught up with us and we have decided to give up towing. Easter cottage has been our first holiday rental and we have been delighted with this cosy and well-appointed cottage. The location is perfect. We hope to return to enjoy many more holidays in this lovely area
We spent a lovely week here. There is so much to see. Studland, Old Harry, the coast walks from Langton Matravers and Dulston Castle and Arne Nature Reserve. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and has everything we wanted. We had meals at the Castle Inn, The Pink Goat, Arne Café and The Square and Compass. We loved the Old Pier at Swanage. Look forward to returning.
Purbeck is a walker’s paradise. Corfe Castle is a charming base and Easter Cottage a cosy spot to return to at days end. Well–outfitted and comfortable, love the sunny kitchen and long bath tub, great for soaking after walking miles and miles of beautiful landscape all around. Thank you for sharing a truly wonderful holiday cottage with us.
Hard to believe this has been our 9th visit. We returned to old favourites such as The Blue Pool, Durdle Door, Studland Bay and Monkey World and enjoyed relaxing in beautiful Dorset. The weather has been kind and the cottage snug. Thank you or providing this beautiful home from home.
A lovely holiday with friends in Corfe. Walking to Old Harry Rocks was very special in the sunset. A lovely time in the cottage. Board games, reading and catching up was very enjoyable. Thank you!
Had a fab tine. Cottage is lovely – well equipped and homely. Great walks into Corfe via the gorgeous meadows. Loads of wildlife.
We have returned once again, this now being our 3rd visit to this beautiful cottage. Beautiful walks on the common behind the cottage where horses and pony’s graze. We have all enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Easter cottage was lovely - great location for exploring the Isle of Purbeck we did two cycle rides and one walk from the house itself and plenty of pubs to walk to. The cottage was good value for money, warm, comfortable, spacious and clean with a good shower. Good parking. Nice welcome pack.

We certainly greatly enjoyed our recent holiday. With regard to the cottage experience, we would particularly like to mention the very pleasing cleanliness and comfort of the beds and mattress protectors etc. Although very important, this is something not be taken for granted. Cleanliness of the property in general was also excellent. Thank you for your attention to detail.
We loved Easter Cottage, particularly the layout. Large kitchen diner and well-balanced comfortable bedrooms. The garden was useful and in a very convenient position. We would definitely stay at Easter Cottage again in the future.
