We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Stables. It was clean and very much up together, also quiet which is a must for us. It was lovely hearing the Tawny Owls each night, seeing Bats and Deer in and around the house and picking an endless supply of Blackberries every morning for breakfast.

We had a brilliant stay at the Old Stables over Christmas. The house had been beautifully decked out with Christmas decorations, the open fire worked brilliantly and the house was warm and cosy - the perfect place to spend Christmas. It's based in a very quiet and friendly little hamlet in the middle of amazing countryside close to attractions. The house itself was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic kitchen that had all the utensils we needed for all our Christmas meals. The staff at Corfe and Purbeck Holidays were responsive and fast to deal with all questions and queries we had. Thank you!

I have used Corfe and Purbeck holidays on a number of occasions and always found Tracy to be extremely helpful, both before in discussing properties, and also during our stays. Earlier in July 2021 we visited The Old Stables, which was an addition to the home portfolio. The house is spacious and well appointed and I can’t think of anything that was missing. The location is quiet and located in a small hamlet, but close enough to Wareham and other local attractions. The garden is large and reasonably private with views over the countryside beyond and benefits from getting the sun for large parts of the day. We liked it so much we visited again in September and it is on our list for 2022.

We had a lovely time at The Old Stables. I went with my children and my parents who are in their 80's. The property is very well catered for and the garden was great for sitting out in. It was great that there were two dishwashers so it could take everyone's dishes! The property is well served by restaurants and pubs which are a short drive away. Loved how quiet and peaceful it was.

We loved our stay at The Old Stables. The cottage is in a great location down a country lane offering peace and privacy, but near enough to main roads to not be isolated, with a lovely farm shop nearby. Accommodation is fab, plenty of space, huge garden. Rooms comfy and lots of storage. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need for cooking, but could do with a bit of cupboard space being freed up for food. Information in the cottage also great, with a pinboard full of helpful suggestions of places to visit/places to eat at/takeaways and a folder that answers any questions about the property. Contact with Corfe and Purbeck Holidays also very easy and accessible and helpful - even when it’s a blonde moment about how to work a key safe! Perfect place for a family holiday and would definitely book another holiday with Corfe and Purbeck Holidays

In our opinion The Old Stables is the perfect holiday cottage. Three generations of our family, ranging from 7 to 77 years old, enjoyed a wonderful week there. The cottage is very light and spacious and is in an idyllic location; so peaceful and yet perfectly placed to visit the many wonderful destinations in that part of Dorset. The garden, which overlooks fields, is quite large and is safe for children. We have every intention of returning to The Stables sometime in the future and look forward to arranging it with Corfe and Purbeck Holidays as both Danielle and Tracy are genuinely warm and friendly and really care about their clients.

We stayed at The Old Stables and cannot recommend both the house and Corfe and Purbeck Holidays more highly. The house had a very friendly feel and was well appointed with 4 decent sized rooms and a large sitting room and garden. Corfe and Purbeck Holidays were really helpful, and both the instructions before arriving and the set up in the house were excellent. We would definitely stay here again.
