Bay View is a luxurious, detached, family friendly holiday home, with fantastic sea views over Swanage Bay, with many benefits, including a hot tub. The property is in a prime location, less than a 10-minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach and town centre of Swanage, with its selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
Stepping inside this property from the entrance porch, you find yourself in the hallway, with doors leading to the sitting room, kitchen/diner, a cloakroom with WC, and the stairs up to the first floor.
The large, bright, open plan kitchen and dining room provides a great social space for family gatherings. The well-equipped kitchen has a range of appliances, and with ample space to prepare a feast. The dining area provides the perfect spot to enjoy a meal together, whilst enjoying the outstanding views towards Swanage Bay. Off the kitchen, is a separate utility room, with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a side door out to the steps leading down to the garden. Leading from the dining area are two sets of doors, to the right, is an outdoor terrace, with seating providing an ideal spot to relax under the evening stars, whilst enjoying a glass of wine and watching the lights of Swanage dancing on the bay. To the left, is a further terrace which overlooks the garden and features a superb hot tub, ideal for a relaxing soak. The hot tub is available to be hired for guests who wish to use it. The large, welcoming sitting room is off the hallway and has comfortable seating in front of a Smart TV and bi-folding/patio doors to the outside terrace to enable you to enjoy the stunning views of Swanage Bay and the Purbeck Hills. This room provides the perfect space for family film nights after a full day out down the beach.
Heading upstairs, are four impressive bedrooms. The spacious, master suite has a king size bed, with plenty of wardrobe space and features amazing views over Swanage – which can be enjoyed from the bed. The curtains open at the touch of a button allowing you to enjoy the morning sun without getting out of bed. The master en-suite has a large walk-in shower, wash hand basin, WC and bathtub. Guests can enjoy a relaxing bath, taking in the views over Swanage bay!
The spacious second bedroom has a double bed and en-suite with large walk-in shower, WC and wash hand basin. The bright, third double bedroom features the views over Swanage and the Purbeck Hills. The fourth bedroom has child size bunk beds with an additional pull-out trundle bed. There is also a cot in this bedroom perfect for a little one!
The spacious family bathroom is very well equipped with a double wash basin, a walk in shower enclosure and a bath.
The beautiful large garden is accessed from the terrace or side door on the ground floor, with several steps down to a large lawned area - the perfect space for the children to play for hours and for the adults to relax in the sun after a day exploring. Further down the garden there is a barbecue area, with dining furniture to enjoy those alfresco family meals.
At the end of the garden there is a gate to a shared walkway providing a short and more direct walk to Swanage!
The front drive provides parking for 3 to 4 cars.
Bay View, Swanage is an impressive four-bedroom property, situated in a superb location. It is only a short walk to the beach and town, as well as a short drive to the pretty village of Corfe Castle, Studland and many other nearby attractions. The fabulous Durlston Country Park and National Nature Reserve is within walking distance, and offers acres of countryside, sea cliffs, superb coastal walks, the Victorian Castle, a Café and Visitor Centre. From here spectacular views can be enjoyed, where you may catch sight of the Dolphins swimming by, or the Guillemots sitting on the ledge.

A fantastic house in a beautiful setting, minutes from the beach. What lovely views! The house was immaculate and thanks for being so thoughtful regarding the children with stairgates and toys etc. We had a great week. Thanks so much!
Always nice to be back in Swanage, now for 32 years in a row. Lovely house where the baby crawled forwards for the first time! Great to look out to old harry and watch the weather.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Has everything you could want for a break with a child and dog in tow. The location is excellent - a short walk down to the town and beach in one direction, and a short walk to the country park for dog walks in the other direction. House is really well equipped and very spacious. The views from the back bedrooms are incredible - so lovely to wake up to.
A well equipped house with comfortable beds and lovely views, also in a good location. The children enjoyed Monkey World, the steam railway and the playground above the beach in Swanage is excellent.
