Lovely cottage in great location. Comfortable and well equipped, nice garden area and an easy walk to all the local pubs and shops. We were there on a cold February weekend and were very cosy and warm . Highly recommended
We stayed in Castle Cottage over New Year and had a lovely break. The cottage was very comfortable and clean, the garden was great too. Everyone was very helpful at Corfe and Purbeck holidays, as always. Tracy very kindly messaged to say as the cottage was not being cleaned on the day of departure we didn’t need to rush to be out by 10am. We will most definitely be booking again.
Had a great week at Castle Cottage. The cottage was very well equipped and a perfect location for exploring Purbeck. I had a very peaceful, relaxing week and would not hesitate to book again.
Our stay at Castle Cottage was the fourth time we have booked a holiday through Corfe and Purbeck Holidays. The cottage was very well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Staying in Corfe Castle is a good base, not just for the village itself, but also the surrounding area - Swanage, Studland, Sandbanks, Kimmeridge and the Tank Museum. We will definitely be booking with Corfe and Purbeck Holidays again. They are very friendly and were very accommodating when our booking had to be rearranged due to Covid.
Castle Cottage was very well equipped and very convenient for the local village. Very comfortable and met our expectations, the bed was very comfortable and we very much appreciated the nice touch of Milk, Biscuits,Tea Coffee etc to greet us after a long journey. Corfe and Purbeck Holidays management seems to be very efficient and nothing is too much trouble, very well organised. Having the garden was pleasant and some pretty geraniums in the tubs made it feel like home. Having WiFi and the use of the telephone if necessary was also helpful overall we were very pleased with the accommodation.
We were very lucky and managed to book a last minute break at Castle Cottage in Corfe Castle which is perfectly situated within easy walking distance of the Castle, many pubs, shops, countryside walks and the steam train station. The cottage is chocolate box beautiful with old beams and a lovely old inglenook with electric powered 'log burner' (along with central heating) which warmed the room up quickly and gave a cosy feel to a cold evening. There are 2 comfortable bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The backgarden was a welcome suntrap, great to be able to escape from the cool breeze that was spoiling an otherwise beautiful sunny week, this was a great place to relax and listen to the steam train chuffing along at the back of the garden. Parking is easy, off road outside the cottage and there are lots of pretty walks around the village and surrounding countryside. Everything was sparkling clean and covid safe. Overall, a great experience from the easy last minute booking process over the phone to the comfort of the cottage, and the beauty of Corfe Castle and surrounding areas which all contributed to a well earned relaxing few days away from home. Thankyou, we will book again.
Lovely cottage with thatched roof and a beautiful dog secure garden. The location of the cottage is a 5 minute walk from the local shop (which stocks over 350 gins), the bakery and a number of pubs. A great base to explore the local scenery too, either walking from the front door, with footpaths in all direction, or via car to Swanage or Studland Beach. The cooking facilities were also excellent, with a ceramic hob, oven, trays and a dishwasher, making it all far more civilised than holiday homes sometimes can be. We would definitely stay again.
We’ve just had a wonderful week in Castle Cottage, Corfe and we can’t fault the accommodation or service from Corfe and Purbeck Holidays. The cottage was immaculate, we felt very safe, and a query we had was dealt with promptly and politely. We will be back!
What a perfect gem of a place, superb cottage, warm and cosy with four pubs within walking distance!
We had a lovely time will definitely be coming back. The cottage was perfect and we had no complaints.
My family and I spent a very comfortable and relaxing holiday in Castle Cottage recently and will, no doubt, be contacting you again next year to repeat our booking. The information left in the cottage we found very useful for visits to local places whilst in the area.
