Mallow Cottage is a delightful Purbeck Stone Cottage, which is surprisingly spacious and has been tastefully modernised. The accommodation is on three floors and has a small private rear garden and two allocated parking spaces a short walk from the cottage.
The entrance leads into a good sized, modern, well equipped kitchen and an attractive open plan dining area and sitting room, where there is a dining table and comfortable seating for 6. The kitchen has plenty of work space, an integrated electric oven, with a grill and gas hob and a large fridge/freezer.
Stairs from the entrance hallway lead to the first and second floors. On the first floor is a substantial super king-size bedroom with a zip & link bed, which can be split to form two 3’ single beds. This bedroom has the benefit of comfortable seating and a colour TV. The room is spacious and bright, with double glazed windows which overlook the playing fields and the hills beyond. There is also a shower room with a large walk in shower, WC and wash basin and a separate WC with basin.
On the second floor is a delightful, equally large bedroom, with a king-size bed and views of the playing fields and beyond, with the sunny south aspect, it’s a perfect place to wake up to get your day off to a relaxing start. The pleasant third bedroom has twin beds and views to the sea and Purbeck Hills.
Access to the cottage is through the small cottage garden, which is enclosed with a picket fence, there is a Purbeck Flagstone path which runs by the small lawned area, and seating which provides a peaceful setting to relax after a day out exploring this beautiful area.
Mallow Cottage is in a wonderful location, situated in the pretty, historic village of Langton Matravers, with its village store and traditional friendly pub. The cottage is approximately 2 miles west of Swanage, within easy reach of many of the best beaches and local attractions and in a perfect position for access to the South West Coastal Path, with some of the most stunning, scenic walks in the area, including The Priests Way and The Spyway.
