We had a lovely week at the cottage, we love Corfe and everything the Isle of Purbeck has to offer, the cottage is really well located, it was clean and exactly as described we couldn't have asked for more. Parking space is a huge bonus.

Great stay, short break, lovely cottage, and great location.

Very responsive and friendly host, lovely little thatched cottage with comfortable furnishings and well equipped for a break away from home. Centrally located for beautiful walks all around and an easy drive to the coast. The cottage is directly located on the A351 with a narrow pavement when exiting the front door of the cottage. Might be a consideration for those with dogs or small children.

The Christmas goodies provided were greatly appreciated and the festive decorations looked delightful. There are so many beautiful walks nearby to explore, we will definitely be back.

We have stayed in Cotters Pound twice now and would use it again. It is cosy and ideal for couples. We had a problem with the TV this time, but after a quick call to Corfe and Purbeck Holidays, they got it quickly sorted. We had a lovely stay at Cotters Pound, the cottage had great facilities in an ideal location for the village pubs and the Jurassic coast. This is a beautiful part of Dorset with stunning views around the Jurassic Coast – we enjoyed walking to Swanage beach with Woody our dog as well as a coastal walk from Lulworth to Durdle Door. The parking was also a bonus. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Corfe & Purbeck Holidays.

We had a lovely holiday in Cotters Pound by Corfe Castle. Booking with Corfe & Purbeck Holidays was simple and friendly, the location fantastic, and the cottage was beautiful, cosy and well-equipped. There were lots of great little touches - like tea & coffee supplies, and a family games hamper - and it was very easy to get in touch with the team if you needed help. Corfe and Purbeck Holidays will be our first port of call if we return to the area soon.

We found Cotters Pound to be a lovely holiday property. It was central to the village which provided all services we required, including pubs, bakery, local shop, etc.Corfe Castle itself is a truly memorable castle, definitely worth a visit and only a short walk away.Although a small thatched property, Cotters Pound felt spacious and yet cosy. It was very useful to have a parking space as parking might have been a problem with the village being popular. Everything was provided and the small courtyard area was attractive and used during the very sunny March week, as was the washing machine and line. We loved the area in Dorset and would recommend the cottage, but if you are a light sleeper you would need to be aware, as we were, that a lot of traffic passes close by early in the morning.

We loved relaxing and enjoying the countryside. Cotters Pound is a very homely cottage, it comfy, spotlessly clean. We loved walking to Dancing Ledge and the Tilly Whim caves. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay in Corfe Village in the picturesque cottage, Cotter's Pound. The facilities and supplies inside the cottage were adequate and good quality. Although on the main road to Swanage, we hardly heard or were disturbed by the traffic, thick walls and secondary glazing being helpful. There is such a lot to see around the Castle site and the village, interesting and historical. Many places to visit further from the village via bus or steam train. Also walking out and about from the village Our reservation and payment were handled efficiently, without any problem. Two minor problems were quickly discussed with Corfe & Purbeck Holidays and feedback given to us. We recommend a stay in this lovely part of Dorset and by choosing a holiday cottage through Corfe and Purbeck Holidays, we feel your stay will be greatly enhanced.

We had an amazing family holiday in Dorset. We have loved staying in Cotters Pound. It is a beautiful cottage with amazing views of the castle. We loved swimming at Dancing Ledge, visiting Kimmeridge Bay and seeing the sunset from Shell Bay Restaurant!

I found this delightful bijou cottage through Corfe and Purbeck holidays. It is located right in the centre of the village and, unusually, has an allocated off street large parking space. The cottage is only a few minutes’ walk from the square where we found restaurants, a bakery, a fully stocked local shop, and, an ice-cream shop. The cottage is beautifully furnished and offered me and my husband just what we needed for a getaway adventure. The kitchen is practical, compact and has everything we needed for our holiday and some things we didn’t but others might like such as a washing machine. For most of the day the sun shines brightly on the small garden, which has a table and four chairs for alfresco dining. I loved my stay in this perfect chocolate box cottage. Thank you to Corfe and Purbeck who are professional and friendly, dealt with any question carefully and provided all of the information we needed for our stay efficiently.

My family and I stayed at Cotters Pound cottage from 12th April 2021, for a well needed break, after the COVID 19 restrictions were relaxed. The cottage was beautiful and equipped to a very high standard. Our children (3 & 6 years) were made up with the lovely bunk beds and rabbit theme in the bedroom! The cottage is in a great location for visiting many attractions. For example the steam train ride into Swanage, from Swanage there is a lovely nature trail walk to Durlston head (castle, caves and lighthouse), a 10 minute drive to the beach at Studland bay, a 5 minute drive to The Blue Pool (beautiful woodland walk and tea room). Not forgetting the Model Village and Corfe Castle which is right on the door step. Corfe and Purbeck Holidays were so helpful with everything we needed. We will definitely be visiting again.
